cool all-girl surf combo. their wax on SYMPATHY is one of their best and boldest efforts. they do relatively "traditional" surf music, very early-sixties, not really "punky", but really fantastic. in the style of surf before it was "psychodelized", hip-shaking dance action. in the vein of VENTURES or TORNADOES, LIVELY ONES, if you insist on name-dropping. reverbed, up-tempo, super charming tunes, lovely pink vinyl, nifty picture sleeve.tracks: dig thee phantom 5ive/ hollow grinders are go.
